NV6007 Fuel Cell Trainer is a modular experimental system designed to
study the working of Solar-Hydrogen cycle. The Reversible Fuel Cell is
unique, as it acts as both, an Electrolyzer and a Fuel Cell.
The Hall Effect Trainer
NV6101 is a very useful system for the laboratory. It is used for the
study of Hall Effect and its measurement. The Hall Effect is an
important observation in material science. If an electric current
flows through a conductor in a magnetic field, it exerts a transverse
force on the moving charge carriers which tends to push them to one
side of the conductor. It will balance this magnetic influence and
producing a measurable voltage between two sides of the conductor.
This voltage is called as Hall voltage.
This system is provided with Gauss and Tesla meter with an InAs sensor
for measurement of magnetic field. Measurement unit is given for
measuring Hall voltage, probe current, heater current and thermo-emf.
Constant current power supply is provided for electromagnet which
produces the magnetic field. This trainer can be used to calculate the
carrier density, mobility of charge carrier, Hall coefficient of given
semiconductor material etc. We can study the effect of temperature in
semiconductor material and relation between magnetic field and Hall
voltage.
